Dude, been chekin out yo r blog for clarity's sake. Seeing the video on Transmedia sealed it. I'v ecome to the conclusion that the time is ripe and right for the thinking that CNVRGNC promotes. This, in essence, has been the cry of the "underdog" or "oppressed" (economically, socilally or whatever) since the 60"s but they've been expecting "them" to do something about. A case in point is when the first war in Iraq broke out back in 1990. The local Muslim decided to demonstrate as a sign of opposition and as a way to encourage "them" to thik again. Well, that was stupid and they were told so. The question of the night became, "well what would you suggest" which was quickly answered by, "Media". But, then, the trend of thinking was, "they are too powerful". This was true for the weak minded, already had given up, lacking in imagination, woe is us loosers that they were. Of course, now, with sooooo much media access it has become a more viable option.
The world is moving in the direction of transmedia, consumer sourcing, or global creative input etc. almost naturally Those who are keen to market strategies are the ones who see it most clearly.
There many changes occurring within our world and yet the consumer/business owner/religious organizer/community leader/etc. are kinda blind to what's occurring.
