Reminds me very much of the "Noble Eightfold Path" in Buddhist Philosophy:

8-fold path is something that has deeply resonated with me since college and something I find myself checking in with/ touching base with spirituallly, whenever I get the sense I'm not right with myself or I'm moving in the wrong direction. The 4 Noble Truths and The Noble Eightfold Path are simultaneously simple and profoundly labyrinthine. I was raised Catholic and have a great respect and love for Catholicism, but I was always deeply conflicted -since I was 4 or 5 years old even - about elements which did not reflect my own core beliefs, spiritually. But, when I read the Buddha's teachings (especially "4" and "8") I felt so "at home", found something which validated my spirit. It gave me such a warm, beautiful sense of spiritual inclusion, "belonging".
